Introduction: Our client entrusted us with manufacturing steel and wood components for 15 exhibits. The plywood elements are assembled with metal parts with a tolerance not exceeding 0.1mm, an impressive value in the furniture industry.
Challenge: Aligning production processes to create a welded structure exceeding 2300mm in dimension while maintaining accuracy within 0.1mm and 0.1 degree on all welded elements, guaranteeing a perfect fit with CNC machined plywood components.
Solution: Designing and creating welding templates using CNC machines, conducting a series of welding tests to develop a process that minimizes distortion, and assembling each exhibit with wooden components before painting to ensure a perfect fit of all elements.
Result: This exhibit has been displayed in 15 locations across the European Union. It features LED lights in various colors that illuminate objects for visitors to interact with within the exhibit. The objects cast multicolored shadows thanks to the precise placement of the lamps, offering a fascinating experience for visitors.
